We'll follow pre-merger Southern Pacific on the Burlington Northern line from Aurora to Cicero and the Belt Railway of Chicago from Cicero to the BRC's West End.Trains are varied and include manifest, stack and ore trains. We'll see a variety of SP related power (SP, SSW, DRGW) and pool power from Conrail, Santa Fe and Union Pacific. We'll also catch the new ACA44CW units. Informative narration includes location and symbol for each train.

Midwest Video Productions was most active in the mid-to-late 1990s when mergers were happening and flags were falling at a fast clip. This video was shot using professional equipment of the time, but is not up to the clarity of today's high-definition video. It is however an excellent snapshot of an important time in the nation's railroad history.
